Well, all of the quotes are of the Freddie Mercury. I am not mentioning him as he was born a Gujrati J Well he was a British musician, record producer, and singer-songwriter, best known as the lead vocalist and lyricist of the rock band Queen.

In 1978, at the Montreux Jazz Festival, the singer recorded the album "Jazz" with Queen. He settled in Montreux and Lake Geneva and decided to settle here. He said, among other things, "If you want peace of soul, come to Montreux".

With this I open the 48^thMontreux Jazz Festival to you. I went for the opening ceremony on 5^thand 6^th July! It was splendid to say the least. I tried to capture a few moments and sharing it with you all.

I stayed at the Lausanne Bussigny and drove down to Montreux which is just a 15 minute drive my car.

MJF or the Montreux Jazz Festival is being celebrated since the last 48years and was an enthralling experience.

The Montreux Jazz Festival is held annually in early July in Montreux on the Lake Geneva (Switzerland) shoreline. It is the second largest annual jazz festival in the world after Canada's Montreal International Jazz Festival.
